Sec. Duque, binisita ang isang ospital sa Maynila

Sa paghahanda sa pagsalubong ng Bagong Taon, binisita ni Health Secretary Francisco Duque III ang isang ospital sa Maynila.

Ito ay para matiyak na maayos ang isinagawang paghahanda sa Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center sa pagsalubong ng taong 2020.

Ipinakita rin ng kalihim ang halimbawa kung paano tutugon sakaling mayroong masugatan o mabiktima ng paputok.

Patuloy naman ang paalala ng DOH ukol sa mga ipinagbabawal na paputok para maiwasang madisgrasya.

Sa huling tala ng kagawaran, hindi bababa sa 60 ang napaulat na nasugatan dahil sa paputok hanggang sa Bisperas ng Bagong Taon (December 31).
