Malakanyang, hands off sa rape case ni Pastor Quiboloy
Dumistansya ang Palasyo ng Malakanyang sa kasong rape na kinakaharap ni Kingdom of Jesus Christ founder Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.
Ayon kay Presidential spokesman Salvador Panelo, personal na isyu na ito para kay Quiboloy at hindi na panghihimasukan ng Palasyo.
“First, I do not know about it. Second, that should be a private matter involving the Pastor. We will not intrude into that private domain,” ayon kay Panelo.
Tiniyak naman ni Panelo na mananaig ng batas kahit na sino pa man ang inaakusa.
“The rule of law in this country always prevail regardless of who are involved,” dagdag pa nito.
Si Quiboloy ay kilalang malapit na kaibigan ni Pangulopng Rodrigo Duterte.
Sinampahan ng kasong rape si Quiboloy at limang iba pa ng isang dating miyembro ng kanilang sekta dahil sa panggagahasa noong 2014.
