Tone-toneladang frozen meat mula sa China nakumpiska sa Navotas

Nakumpiska ng National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) ang tone-toneladang poultry products mula sa China sa operasyon sa San Rafael Village, Navotas City, Miyerkules ng gabi.

Hinarang ng enforcement team ng NMIS – Central Office at NMIS – NCR ang isang container van sa lugar makaraang makatanggap ng sumbong ukol sa ibabagsak na frozen meat.

Naabutan pa ng NMIS ang ilang mga tauhan ng isang warehouse na nagbaba ng frozen poultry products.

Kabilang sa mga nakumpiskang karne ay black chicken, duck liver at mga parte ng Peking duck.

Umabot sa 1,054 kahon ng frozen meat ang nakumpiska.

Hindi nakapagpresenta ng import permit ang driver ng trak.

Matatandaang nag-utos ng ban ang Department of Agriculture (DA) sa meat products mula sa China bunsod ng banta ng African Swine Flu (ASF) at avian flu virus.

Tutukuyin ngayon ng NMIS kung kani-kanino ibinabagsak ang mga frozen meat at kapag nakumpirma, posibleng masampahan ng paglabag sa meat inspection code.
