NAIA balik na sa regular flight operations

Muling binuksan ang Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) alas-6:00 ng gabi ng Martes makaraang isara dahil sa epekto ng Bagyong Tisoy.

Sa press conference, sinabi ni Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) General Manager Ed Monreal na muling binuksan ang airport dahil sa unti-unting pagganda ng panahon.

“We were apprised by PAGASA…that the weather has improved,” ani Monreal.

Simula alas-11:00 ng gabi ay sinimulan nang i-accommodate ang lahat ng scheduled flights.

Hindi rin tuloy ang daily maintenance closure ng paliparan mula ala-1:30 hanggang 3:30 ng madaling-araw para tanggapin ang flights na naapektuhan ng pagsasara.

Kailangan lamang na may approved recovery slots mula sa MIAA ang mga nasuspindeng flights.

Umapela naman si Monreal sa airline passengers na huwag munang pumunta sa paliparan hangga’t hindi nakukumpirma ang kanilang flights bookings.
