Duterte ipinag-utos ang crackdown vs illegal recruiters

Inutusan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) at Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) na palakasin ang operasyon laban sa illegal recruiters.

Sa talumpati sa awarding ceremony para sa Presidential Award for Child-Friendly Municipalities and Cities sa Malacañang, sinabi ng pangulo na dapat talagang mahuli ang mga illegal recruiters.

“My order is to really get them. You should know where to fish for them,” ani Duterte.

Partikular na inatasan ng presidente si DSWD Sec. Rolando Bautista na gumawa ng mas magandang paraan para masawata ang illegal recruitment.

“I’m sending him a message now that you have to do more. Since you are a military man, then I hope you can come up with a structure— a bigger one —to go after itong (illegal) recruitment. And so goes for the Department of Labor (and Employment),” mensahe ng pangulo kay Bautista.

Inalala ni Duterte kung paanong lumapit sa kanya ang mga magulang ng illegally recruited teenagers edad 16 at 17 na nakarating ng Middle East sa pamamagitan ng pagdaya sa mga dokumento.

Nagpahayag din ng kalungkutan ang presidente sa nararanasang pagmamalabis at sexual abuses ng ilang mga overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).

Sa hiwalay na talumpati araw ng Huwebes, inihalintulad ng presidente ang illegal recruiters sa mga tulak ng droga.

“Kayong mga recruiter, I am putting you on the level na parang shabu rin,” ani Duterte.

Galit anya siya sa masasawang gawain ng mga ito at binantaang papatayin dahil sa pananamantala sa mga Filipino.

“Galit ako talaga sa mga recruiter na ginawang g*g* ang Pinoy. Diyan ako galit, at puwede talaga kita talagang patayin sa nangyayari sa Pilipino,” dagdag ng pangulo.
