Bumababa ang bilang ng mga Filipino seafarer.
Pangunahing dahilan ayon sa isang grupo, mas pinipili ng ng mga employer na kumuha ng seafarers sa ibang bansa sa halip na Pilipinas.
Ito ay dahil umano sa isyu sa mental health at behavior ng mga Pinoy.
