20,000 tauhan mula sa iba’t ibang ahensya ng gobyerno, tututok sa seguridad sa 30th SEA Games – PNP

Aabot sa 20,000 na tauhan mula sa iba’t ibang ahensya ng gobyerno ang tututok sa seguridad sa kasagsagan ng 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.

Sa isang press briefing sa Camp Crame, sinabi ni Philippine National Police (PNP) officer-in-charge Lt. Gen. Archie Gamboa na ibinibigay nila ang kanilang “best foot forward” para sa sports competition.

Patuloy din aniya ang pagsasanay ng kanilang hanay para sa ipatutupad na sistema sa event.

Dagdag pa ng opisyal, naghanda na rin ng full back-up system sakaling magkaroon ng hindi inaasahang sitwasyon sa kompetisyon.

“We are putting our best foot forward for the regional sporting event among our ASEAN neighbors. We have started preparations since last year. We continue to rehearse and fine-tune all our systems and procedures for this event, such that we have established full back-up system that will address any unforeseen situation that may arise,” pahayag ni Gamboa.

Nasa 10,000 atleta mula sa Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, Timor Leste, Singapore, Vietnam at Pilipinas ang inaasahang makikilahok sa 56 sporting events.

Mag-aasiste rin ang PNP units pagdating sa public safety, crowd control, vehicular at pedestrian traffic direction, route, parking at venue security.

Gaganapin ito sa 11 venues sa Luzon simula November 30 hanggang December 11, 2019.
