Malacañang sa Robredo camp: Duterte may kapangyarihang i-reorganisa ang burukrasya

Kinontra ng Palasyo ng Malacañang ang naging pahayag ng kampo ni Vice President Leni Robredo na nagkukwestyon sa pagtatalaga sa pangalawang pangulo bilang ‘drug czar’.

Sinabi ni Atty. Barry Gutierrez, tagapagsalita ni Robredo na hindi naman seryoso ang Executive Order no. 15 ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte at walang posisyong co-chairman sa Inter-agency Commission on Anti-Illegal Drugs (ICAD).

Pero sa pahayag ni Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo Martes ng gabi, iginiit nitong hindi kailangan amyendahan ang EO 15.

Ani Panelo, may kapangyarihan si Duterte na ireorganisa ang burukrasya kaya hindi na kailangan pang amyendahan ang EO sa ICAD.

Mali umano ang pananaw ni Gutierrez.

“No need to amend EO 15. The President has the continuing authority to reorganise the bureaucracy. Gutierrez is wrong,” ayon kay Panelo.

Sa ngayon ay wala pang desisyon si Robredo kung tatanggapin ang co-chair position na alok ng pangulo.

Iginiit ni Gutierrez na ang unang sinabi ni Duterte ay magiging drug czar si Robredo ngunit ngayon ay magiging co-chair lang ng ICAD.

Sakaling tanggapin ng bise presidente ang alok ay magiging co-chairman niya si Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Director General Aaron Aquino.
