Human Assistance and Disaster Response, itinayo ng PCG sa Davao City

Nagtayo ng Human Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) ang Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) sa Davao City matapos ang magnitude 6.6 na lindol sa tumama sa Tulunan, Cotabato noong nakaraang araw.

Ayon kay PCG spokesperson Captain Armand Balilo, inilagay sa Davao City ang HADR dahil malapit ito sa mga seaports, paliparan at mga kalsada para maiparating ang mga tulong sa mga lugar na naapektuhan ng malakas na lindol.

Aniya, nagpadala na ang PCG ng 10-wheeler Boom Trucks na galing pa ng Manila, 15 pick-up, 6 na ambulansya, 1 PCG Islander, 285 Handheld radios, 3 search and rescue (sar) dog, 2 explosive sniffing dog, 10 doctor at 12 nurse.

Hinihintay naman anya ng PCG ang pagdating sa Davao port ang dalawang barko ng PCG na BRP Agacay at MCS 3010 na galing Zamboanga City na lulan ang mga relief goods.

Dagdag pa ni Balilo, nangako ang Davao City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DCDRRMO) na magbibigay ng mga trak upang makatulong sa pagdadala ng mga relief goods sa mga kalapit na lugar na napinsala ng lindol.
