DOH, inilunsad ang e-learning platform para sa mga health worker

Inilunsad ng Department of Health (DOH) ang e-learning academy noong nakaraang Biyernes, Oct. 25.

Ayon kay DOH Secretary Francisco Duque III, ang nasabing e-learning academy ay tinawag na DOH e-learning na layunin nito na bigyan ang mga health workers ng bansa ng isang standardized online learning modules.

Aniya magkakaroon din ng maraming oras ang mga health workers sa kanilang mga pasyente, dahil ang DOH e-learning ay pwedeng ma-access kahit anong oras o kahit saang lugar.

Dagdag pa ni Duque, katuwang din ng DOH ang United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

Sinabi ng kalihim na ang USAID ang nanguna para mag develop ng isang web portal para sa nasabing programa.

Ang USAID at DOH ay nagtulungan naman para makapagdevelop ng e-learning modules kaugnay sa tuberculosis, family planning, adolescent health at data governance, kasama na rin dito ang tungkol sa Universal Health Care Law.

Pinasinayaan din ni USAID Acting Mission Director Patrick Wesner ang paglungsad ng nasabing e-learning platform ng DOH.
