Ninja cops isasalang sa re-ivestigation ng DOJ
Pinahaharap ng Department of Justice (DOJ) ang labing tatlong police officials na isinasangkot sa pag-recycle ng iligal na droga sa isang anti-drug operation sa Pampanga noong 2013.
Ang nasabing mga pulis na tinaguring “ninja cops” ay kasalukuyan ring iniimbestigahan ng Senado.
Inutusan ng panel of prosecutors ang grupo ni Police Major Rodney Raymundo Louie Baloyo na humarap sa gagawing reinvestigation ng DOJ sa October 16, alas-diyes ng umaga.
Nauna nang inakusahan ang grupo ni Baloyo ng pagtatanim ng ebidensya at pag-recycle ng nakumpiskang droga mula sa isang suspected drug lord na si Johnson Lee sa Mexico, Pampanga noong 2013.
Kabilang rin sa mga iimbestigahan ay sina Senior Inspector Joven De Guzman, Jr., Senior Police Officers 1 Donald Roque, Ronald Santos, Rommel Vital, Alcindor Tinio, Eligio Valeroso, Police Officers 3 Dindo Dizon, Gilbert De Vera, Encarnacion Guerrero, Jr., Dante Dizon, at Police Officer 2 Anthony Lacsamana.
Ang nasabing mga pulis ay dating nasa ilalim ng pamumuno ni PNP Chief Oscar Albayalde noong siya pa ang pinuno ng Pampanga Police Office.
