Maine Mendoza alyas Yaya Dub, kasama sa 2016 calendar ng Disney
Si Maine Mendoza alyas Yaya Dub ang napiling maging si Queen Elsa para sa 2016 Disney Calendar.
Mismong ang Disney ang nagkumpirma ng balita na ang Dubsmash Queen ng Pilipinas ay napili para mapasama sa ilalabas kalendaryo ng Disney.
Sa Facebook page ng Disney Channel Asia, ipinost ang maiksing video ng behind the scene ng photoshoot ni Maine habang nakasuot ito ng costume ni Queen Elsa ng pelikulang “Frozen”.
Nakasaad sa nasabing FB post ang caption na “YEAR 2016 is off to a great start with the very first Disney collaboration with Maine Mendoza. Her Disney side is looking worthy of a snow queen! Who wouldn’t want to build a snowman with her?”.
Mayroong ding hiwalay na video na ibinahagi ng sa twitter ng fans ng AlDub kung saan bumati si Maine at inanyayahan ang lahat na abangan ang ilalabas na kalendaryo ng Disney.
Hi everyone! This is Maine Mendoza also known as YayaDub from the Philippines. So as you can see I’m dressed as the snow queen Elsa, and I’m gonna be at the 2016 Disney Calendar, so watch out for it!,” ayon kay Mendoza.
Sinabi ni Maine na nag-enjoy siya sa photo shoot dahil first time niya itong gawin, Maliban dito, gustong-gusto umano niya si Elsa.

Maliban kay Maine, ang Filipino Cosplay star na si Alodia Gosiengfiao ay mapapasama din sa Disney calendar pero hindi tinukoy sa video ni Gosiengfiao kung anong character ang kaniyang gagampanan.
Noong nakaraang taon, si Sarah Geronimo ay gumanap bilang Rapunzel at Kim Chiu naman bilang Mulan sa 2015 Disney Calendar.
