Paglapag ng aircraft ng China sa West PH Sea kinondena ng Pentagon

Lalong magpapalala ng tensyon ang ginawa ng China na pagpapalapag ng air craft sa pinag-aagawang bahagi ng South China Sea o West Philippine Sea.

Ayon kay Pentagon Spokesman Peter Cook, sa mga impormasyong kanilang nakalap, tatlong civilian flights na ang pinalapag ng China sa Spratlys island.

“We clearly are concerned by these flights… and we’re concerned by all of these activities being conducted by the Chinese in disputed islands in the South China Sea,” sinabi ni Cook.

Sinabi ni Cook na makaradagdag lamang sa problema sa West Philippine Sea ang anomang hakbang ng anomang bansa na may kaugnayan sa reclamation acitivities sa isla.

Maliban sa China at Pilipinas, kabilang din sa mga bansang claimants sa Spratlys island ang
Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei at Taiwan.

Pero ang China ay mabilis na nagtayo ng artificial islands sa pinag-aagawang teritoryo at naglagay pa ng airstrips na maaring magamit ng mga military jets.

Kasabay nito ay nanawagan si Cook ng diplomatic resolution sa usapin. Aniya ang pagpapalapag flights sa South China Sea ay lalo lamang makapagpapalala sa hindi pagkakaunawaan.
