Nakasabat ang Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) ng nasa limang kilo ng hinihinalang shabu sa loob ng isang bagahe sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1.

Ayon kay PDEA NAIA chief Gerald Javier ang bagahe ay dumating dakong alas 5:46 ng umaga sakay ng flight PR 569 mula sa Hanoi, Vietnam.

Ang droga ay nakalagay sa isang kulay brown na trolley bag na may name tag na “Orbillo Nazarene” at iniwan malapit sa Customs examiner counter bandang 9:00 ng umaga.

Nang inspeksyunin na natuklasan ang nasa 5.16 na kilo ng hinihinalang shabu na nagkakahalaga ng Php35-milyon.

Natukoy na rin ng airport authorities ang may dala ng bagahe base sa baggage tag.

Samantala, tiniyak naman ni Airport Customs District Collector Carmelita Talusan na i-review ang lahat ng CCTV sa NAIA Terminal 1.
