Mga klase sa Iloilo City, kanselado dahil sa transport strike sa Lunes

Nagkansela na ng pasok sa eskwela ang pamahalaang lungsod ng Iloilo dahil sa transport strike sa lunes, September 30.

Sa Facebook page ni Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas, inihayag niya na suspendido ang klase sa lahat ng antas, pribado man o pampublikong paaralan dahil sa tigil pasada.

Ang kilos protesta ay pangungunahan ng grupong PISTON at ng Alliance of Concerned Transport Organizations o ACTO.

Partikular na tinututulan ng transport group ang modernization program ng Public Utility Vehicle na magreresulta sa phase out ng mga lumang jeepney.
