2 recruitment agencies sinuspinde dahil sa deployment sa Saudi Arabia

Ipinag-utos ni Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III ang agarang suspensyon sa dalawang lisensyadong recruitment agency dahil sa pag-dedeploy ng mga menor de edad bilang household service worker sa Saudi Arabia.

Ayon kay Philippine Overseas Employment Administrator Bernard Olalia, suspendido na ang LGH International Services at Side International Manpower Inc.

Aniya, nag-deploy ang LGH International Services ng 17-anyos na Filipino sa Riyadh habang ang Side International Manpower Inc. naman ay nag-deploy ng 14-anyos na Filipino sa Jeddah.

Ani Olalia, malinaw na paglabag ito sa mga alituntunin ng POEA.

Samantala, maliban sa kanselasyon ng lisensya, pagmumultahin din ang dalawang recruitment agency ng P500,000 hanggang P1 milyon.

Sa ngayon, nahaharap na ang dalawang recruitment agency ng kasong kriminal at administratibo.

Sinabi ni Olalia na patuloy silang nakikipag-ugnayan sa Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) at iba pang concerned agency para sa imbestigasyon ng mga pekeng dokumento ng dalawang menor de edad.
