Australia binalaan ang kanilang mga mamamayan sa polio outbreak sa Pilipinas

Pinag-iingat ng pamahalaan ng Australia ang mga mamamayan nito sa gitna ng polio outbreak sa Pilipinas.

Sa updated advisory ng Australian government sa kanilang official website na Smartraveller, pinatitiyak sa Australian citizens na dapat sila ay may bakuna laban sa polio.

“The Philippines Department of Health has reported a polio outbreak. Make sure you’re vaccinated against polio,” ayon sa advisory.

Magugunitang kinumpirma ng Department of Health (DOH) noong nakaarang linggo na nagbalik sa Pilipinas ang poilio makalipas ang 19 taon.

Samantala, pinapayuhan pa rin ng Australia ang kanilang mga mamamayan na huwag bumiyahe patungo sa central at western Mindanao, kabilang ang Zamboanga Peninsula, Sulu Archipelago at southern Sulu Sea.

Ang babala ay dahil sa umano’y banta ng terorismo, kidnapping, karahasan at bakbakan ng mga armadong grupo.
