BOC nagdagdag ng X-ray machines sa Port of Manila

Naglagay ng dalawa pang bagong units ng X-ray machines ang Bureau of Customs (BOC) sa Port of Manila (POM).

Pinangunahan ni Customs Commissioner rey Guerrero ang paglulunsand ng dalawang bagong portal x-ray machines.

Bagong bili ng customs ang dalawang modern X-ray machines.

Sa pahayag ng X-ray Inspection Project (XIP) ng BOC, kayang makapag-scan ng 120 na containers kada araw ng nasabing makina.

Dahil dito, inaasahang mas mapapaigting pa ang kakayahan ng customs sa pag-detect ng mga smuggled at misdeclared items na ipinapasok sa bansa.

Magagamit din ang mga X-ray sa kampanya kontra ilegal na droga.
