Ikalawang kaso ng polio sa bansa kinumpirma ng DOH; batang lalaki sa Laguna tinamaan ng sakit

Inanunsyo ng Deparment of Health (DOH) ang ikalawang kaso ng polio sa bansa ngayong taon.

Ayon sa DOH, isang limang taong gulang na batang lalaki mula Laguna ang tinamaan din ng sakit at nakumpirma ito sa pagsusuri ng Japan National Institute for Infectious Diseases.

Naranasan umano ng naturang bata ang simula ng pagkaparalisa noong August 25, 2019.

Sa ngayon, nakalabas na ng ospital ang bata at nakalalakad naman na.

Patuloy din siyang minomonitor sa posible pang sintomas.

Unang kinumpirma ng DOH na isang tatlong taong gulang na batang babae ang tinamaan ng polio sa Lanao del Sur.
