Idineklarang special non-working holiday ng Malakanyang ang Sept. 12, araw ng Huwebes sa munisipalidad ng Siquijor sa lalawigan ng Siquijor.

Sa proclamation number 809 na nilagdaan ni Executive Sec. Salvador Medialdea, ito ay bilang paggunita sa ika-47 anibersaryo ng naturang bayan bilang capital ng lalawigan.

Sa pamamagitan ng deklarasyon ng holiday ay mabibigyang pagkakataon ang mga residente na makilahok sa selebrasyon.
