Dagdag bayad sa ATM transactions hindi pa kaagad maipapatupad ayon sa BSP

Nanindigan ang Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) na hindi nila papayagan ang plano ng ilang mga bangko na kaagad na dagdagan ang singil para sa kanilang automated teller transactions.

Sinabi ng BSP na hindi makatwiran ang anumang mabilissan na dagdag na singil para sa pag-check sa account balance at withdrawal gamit ang ATM.

Sa kanilang pahayag ay sinabi ng BSP na dadaan sa panilang pagbusisi kung anuman ang dagdag na singil sa mga ATM transactions.

Ito ay kasunod ng pahayag ng banking regulator na kanila nang inaalis ang moratorium sa anumang ATM fees na naunang ipinatupad mula pa noong 2013.

“Rest assured that the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas shall examine each request and decide if the increase is warranted to cover the cost of maintaining the ATMs,”ayon sa pahayag ng BSP.

Nauna nang lumabas ang mga ulat na posibleng umabot mula P20 hanggang P30 ang ATM fee para sa withdrawals.
