Faeldon, Lim tetestigo laban kay Trillanes

Nakatakdang tumestigo laban kay dating Senador Antonio Trillanes IV ang dalawang kapwa-akusado nito sa 2007 Manila Peninsula siege.

Sa hearing araw ng Lunes, sinabi ng prosekusyon na plano nilang iprisinta bilang mga testigo sina Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman Danilo Lim at Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) Director Nicanor Faeldon.

Sinabi naman ni Atty. Reynaldo Robles, abogado ni Trillanes, may karapatan ang kanilang kampo na tutulan ang presentasyon nina Lim at Faeldon.

Kinuwestyon ng abogado kung bakit ipiprisinta ng prosekusyon ang dalawa sa susunod na pagdinig sa Oktubre gayung mayroon pang nakalistang 23 testigo ang kabilang panig.

Matatandaang ibinasura ang kasong rebelyon laban kay Trillanes pero binuhay ito matapos ipawalang-bisa ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang amnestiyang ibinigay sa dating Senador ni dating Pangulong Benigno Aquino III.

Umapela si Robles kina Lim at Faeldon na pag-isipan ang pagtestigo laban kay Trillanes.

“Kung nabuksan yung kaso ni senator Trillanes ngayon, baka in the future mabuksan yung kaso nila, at yung testimonya nila sa kaso magamit din sa kanila,” ani Robles.
