Pangulong Duterte, hinikayat ang Kamara na ipasa ang TRAIN 2 o Trabaho Bill
Hinikayat ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang Mababang Kapulungan ng Kongreso na ipasa ang Trabaho Bill o Tax Reform for Attracting Better and Higher-quality Opportunities bill.
Layon ng panukalang batas na maibaba ang corporate income tax sa 20 porsyento mula sa kasalukuyang 30 porsyento.
Sa kaniyang ikaapat na State of the Nation Address (SONA) sa Batasan Complex, sinabi ng pangulo na makatutulong ito sa mga small, mediuam at micro enterprise na makapagbibigay ng trabaho sa mga mamamayang Filipino.
Maliban dito, hiniling din ng pangulo sa Kongreso ang pagpapasa ng nalalabing packages ng tax reform program ng administrasyon at sin tax reform bill.
“Sinong naninigarilyo dito? They should be exterminated from the face of the earth,” pahayag ni Duterte.
Kasunod nito, nagpaalala ang pangulo sa publiko na dapat nang itigil ang paninigarilyo at pag-inom ng alak.
