Amnesty International hinamon na laliman ang pagsilip sa war on drugs

Hinikayat ni Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Oscar Albayalde ang Amnesty International at iba pang kritiko na tignan ang positibong anggulo sa kampanya kontra ilegal na droga.

Sa isang press conference, sinabi ni Albayalde na dapat tingnan ang sinseridad kung paano isinasagawa ang mga anti-drug operation.

Hindi rin aniya kinukunsinti ng PNP ang mga umano’y pang-aabuso ng ilang otoridad sa mga police operation.

Tiniyak pa ng PNP chief na kinakastigo ang mga lumabag sa batas na pulis kung saan ang ilan ay kinukulong pa.

Matatandaang tinawang ng London-based human rights group ang probinsya ng Bulacan bilang ‘bloodiest killing field’ sa bansa dahil sa dami ng naitalang drug-related killings.
