Pangulong Duterte umapela sa AFP, PNP na huwag siyang ikudeta
Nakiusap si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) at Philippine National Police (PNP) na huwag siyang ikudeta.
Sa talumpati sa ika-72 anibersaryo ng Philippine Air Force (PAF) sa Villamor Air Base, sinabi nito na kung ayaw na talaga sa kanya ng mga sundalo at pulis, tawagan na lamang siya at magkape at maayos na ituturn over sa kanila ang pamamahala sa bansa.
Ayaw ng pangulo na magdadala pa ng armas ang mga sundalo at pulis para lamang patalasikin siya sa puwesto.
Ayon sa pangulo, batid niyang balang araw magdedesisyon ang AFP at PNP kung karapat-dapat pa ba siyang mamuno sa bansa.
“Because I know that the Armed Forces and the police will have to decide one day, somehow. Do not do it please during my term. I told you before, kung ayaw ninyo ako, do not bring your weapons and mechanized irons there. Just call me, we will [have] coffee. and I am ready to say, “It’s yours.” pahayag ni Duterte.
