DOST, magpapatupad ng programa para matulungan ang mga SME ng bansa

Isinusulong ng Department of Science and Technology (DOST) ang Collaborative Research and Development to Leverage Philippine Economy (CRADLE) program para matulungan ang mga small and medium enterprise (SME) sa bansa.

Kasama rin sa programang ito ang mga unibersidad, research at development institute o RDI.

Sa pamamagitan ng CRADLE program, mas mapagtibay ang bakasan sa pananaliksik at pagpapaunlad sa mga academic institutions, RDIs and SMEs.

Kasama rin sa programa ang pagbibigay ng DOST ng financial support sa mga SME.

Sa ngayon, mayroong 18 SME na mabibigyan ng benepisyo ng nasabing programa, tulad ng:
– Batangas Egg Producers Cooperative
– Carolina Bamboo Garden
– Monde Nissin Corporation
– Hijo Corporation

Ang mga unibersidad naman na kasama ay ang:
– University of the Philippines
– University of the Philippines –Los Baños
– University of Mindanao
– University of Southeastern Philippines

Bukas din ang CRADLE program ng DOST sa Business Innovation through Science and Technology o BIST program.

Kaya naman, hinihikayat ng ahensya na magbigay sa kanila ng proposal hanggang July 16, 2019.

Umaabot ng P5 milyon ang nakatalang pondo sa nasabing programa kada taon sa loob ng tatlong taon.
