Supply ng tubig sa Metro Manila at ilang lalawigan nilimitahan na ng NWRB

Mas ibinaba pa ng National Water Resources Board (NWRB) ang alokasyon ng tubig sa domestic use.

Kasunod ito ng lalo pang pagbaba ng water elevation ng Angat Dam lagpas sa critical level na 159 meters.

Ayon kay NWRB Executive Director Dr. Sevillo David,  mula sa 40 cubic meters per second (m³/s) ay ibinaba pa ito sa 36 cubic meters per second (m³/s)

Sanhin nito, inaasahan na ang kakapusan pa sa supply ng tubig sa mga residenteng sineserbisyuhan ng dalawang konsesyunaryo gaya ng Manila Water at Maynilad.

Ang normal na alokasyon para sa domestic use ay nasa 46 cubic meters per second.

Kaugnay nito, tuluyan na ring sinuspindi ng NWRB ang sinusuplay sa mga irigasyon.
