Nora Aunor, tatanggap ng Philippine Cinema Icon Award sa 2nd SBIFF

Makatatanggap ang beteranong aktres na si Nora Aunor ng Philippine Cinema Icon Award sa ikalawang Subic Bay International Film Festival (SBIFF).

Napili nina Film Directors Arlyn Dela Cruz-Bernal at Vic Vizcocho Jr. ang aktres dahil sa naging kontribusyon nito hindi lamang sa industriya ng pelikula sa Pilipinas kundi maging sa Asya.

Ayon kay Dela Cruz-Bernal, walang sinuman ang makapapantay sa naabot ng karera ni Nora bilang isang artista.

Sinabi naman ni Vizococho na nagsisilbi si Nora bilang depinisyon ng totoong idolo sa kaniyang panahon.

Taong 2018, ginawaran ng SBIFF ng kaparehong pagkilala sina Eddie Garcia at Elwood Perez.

Idaraos ang 2nd SBIFF sa Harbor Point Ayala Mall sa Subic Bay Freeport Zone mula June 21 hanggang 23, 2019. / Angellic Jordan
