TNVS drivers na naapektuhan ng deactivation pinayuhan ng DOTr na muli na lang mag-apply ng prangkisa

Pinayuhan ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) ang mga driver ng Transport Network Vehicle Service na naapektuhan ng deactivation na muling mag-apply ng prangkisa.

Sa pahayag, sinabi ng DOTr, na importante ang safety at security ng riding public kaya mahalagang ang TNVS ay mayroong proper registration.

Ipinaliwanag ng DOTr na ang mga operator at driver ng TNVS ay nabigyan ng sapat na panahon para makatugon sa requirements upang makapag-apply ng Certificate of Public Convenience (CPC) o Provisional Authority (PA).

Katunayan base sa record ng LTFRB mayroong 40,522 TNVS units na napagkalooban ng CPC at mayroong 29,714 units ang nakakuha ng provisional authority.

Patunay ito ayon sa DOTr na naging sapat ang ibinigay na panahon ng LTFRB para sa pag-aaply.

Magugunitang nagrereklamo ang mga TNVS operator at driver dahil nasa 8,000 drivers umano ang apektado ng deactivation ng prangkisa.
