118th anniversary ng SC ipinagdiwang ng mga mahistrado
Nagsama-sama ang mga retirado at nakaupong mahistrado ng Korte Suprema ngayong araw, June 11 para sa ika-118 anibersaryo ng Supreme Court.
Ang tema ng pagdiriwang ay “Korte Suprema: Ang Susunod na Kabanata.”
Pinangunahan ito ni Supreme Court Chief Justice Lucas Bersamin.
Kabilang naman sa mga dumalo ay si Retired Chief Justice Reynato Puno na nagbigay ng mensahe para sa mga retired and incumbent Associate Justices, at si Retired Chief Justice Teresita Leonardo-De Castro.
Highlight ng anibersaryo ng SC ang inagurasyon ng Judiciary Memorabilia Hall, na matatagpuan sa Old Session Hall, sa lumang gusali ng Korte Suprema.
Kabilang sa mga makikita sa Judiciary Memorabilia Hall ay mga lumang “court dress”, mga kagamitan at mga larawan ng mga mahistrado at iba pa, na parte na ng kasaysayan ng Korte Suprema.
