DOJ maglalabas ng hold departure order laban sa mga smugglers ng P1.8B shabu

Maglalabas ang Department of Justice (DOJ) ng preventive order hold departure orders (PHDOs) laban sa ilang mga suspek sa smuggling ng P1.8 bilyong halaga ng shabu na naharang ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) noong Marso.

Ayon Kay DOJ acting Prosecutor General Richard Anthony Fadullon, kailangan ang hold departure orders upang hindi makalabas ng bansa ang mga suspek.

Sinabi ni Fadullon, una ng nabalita na nakalabas ng bansa ang isa sa mga suspek kung kaya’t kailangan talaga ng hold departure orders para hindi makatas ang iba pa sa kanilang kaso sa bansa.

Noong Biyernes naghain ang PDEA ng criminal charges laban kay Jacky Co at iba pang labing anim na kasama nito sa paglabag sa Republic Act No. 9165 o the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
