Senado inaprubahan ang 12 bills na bubuo sa 31 bagong korte

Inaprubahan ng Senado sa ikatlo at pinal na pagbasa ang 12 panukalang batas na layong bumuo ng 31 bagong regional at municipal trial courts.

Ayon kay Senate Majority Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri, ang pagbuo sa mga bagong trial courts ay makakatulong na mabawasan ang mga nakabinbin na kaso sa mga korte.

“To address the needs of our growing populace and the delay in the resolution of cases pending before the courts, the creation of additional branches of the regional trial courts is needed to decongest court dockets of voluminous cases,” ani Zubiri.

Kabilang sa mga inaprubahan ng Senado ang Senate Bill No. 1840 at Senate Bill No. 1542 na bubuo ng isang (RTC) sa Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte at dalawa pang dagdag korte sa Isulan at Tacurong City sa Sultan Kudarat,

Ang sumusunod ang iba pang bills sa pagbuo ng RTC at MTC na lusot na sa Senado sa third at final reading:

One RTC in Bongabong in Oriental Mindoro

Four RTCs in Bansud, Bulalacao, Gloria, and Mansalay in Oriental Mindoro

Four RTCs in Zamboanga City

Three RTCs in Macabebe, Pampanga

One RTC in Paracelis, Mountain Province

One RTC in Asingan, Pangasinan

Two RTCs in Sto. Tomas and Agoncillo, Batangas

One RTC in Ozamis City

Four RTCs in San Pablo, Laguna

Two RTCs in Sta. Rosa, Laguna

Two MTCs in Biñan, Laguna

One MTC in Sta. Rosa, Laguna

One MTC covering Tudela and Sinacaban, Misamis Occidental

Samantala, inaprubahan na rin ng Senado ang House Bill No. 652 na layong i-convert sa RTC ang isang MTC sa Clarin at Tudela sa Ozamis City .
