Ayon sa Phivolcs, ang episentro ng lindol ay sa layong 117 kilometro Timog-Silangan ng Jose Abad Santos.
May lalim itong 34 kilometro at tectonic ang pinagmulan.
Hindi naman nagdulot ng pinsala sa mga ari-arian ang pagyanig at wala ring inaasahang aftershocks.
