Training aircraft na may sakay na 2 piloto, nawawala sa bahagi ng Mindoro Occidental

Nawala sa bahagi ng Mindoro Occidental ang isang Beechcraft Baron 55 (BE55) trainer aircraft matapos mag take-off Biyernes ng umaga sa San Jose Airport.

Ayon sa Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), sakay ng eroplano ang isang Pilipinong piloto at isang Saudi Arabian student nang umalis ito sa paliparan alas 8:13 ng umaga.

Huling na-trace ang aircraft 16 nautical miles sa Timog ng bayan ng San Jose.

Hanggang alas 6:00 Sabado ng gabi ay tulong-tulong ang Philippine Air Force, Philippine Navy, Philippine Coast Guard at King Air private jet sa paghahanap sa training plane.

Ayon sa CAAP, itutuloy ang rescue operations Linggo ng umaga.

Maglalabas ng dagdag na impormasyon ang CAAP kasunod ng imbestigasyon sa insidente.
