Yellow alert itinaas muli sa Luzon grid
Muling itinaas ang yellow alert sa Luzon grid dahil sa manipis na reserba ng kuryente.
Ayon sa National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), ang pag-iral ng yellow alert ay mula ala 1:00 ng hapon hanggang alas 3:00 ng hapon ngayong araw ng Biyernes, May 17.
Ang available capacity para sa Luzon ay 12,034 megawatts habang nasa 11,112 megawatts ang peak demand.
Hindi naman inaasahang ang pagkakaroon n rotational brownout bunsod ng yellow alert maliban na lamang kung magkaroon pa ng biglaang pagpalya ng ibang planta.
