Task Force sa Anti Vote-Buying ilulunsad ng Comelec

Itatatag ng Commission on Elections (COMELEC) ang Anti Vote-Buying Task Force upang mapanagot ang mga lumalabag sa election law.

Tatayong pinuno ng Task Force si Comelec Commissioner Al Parreño habang Vice Chairman si Commissioner Antonio T. Kho.

Tututukan ng task force ang mga kaso ng malawakang vote-buying para sa May 13, 2019 elections na sinasabing kinasasangkutan ng mga kandidato at kanilang mga tagasuporta.

Magsisilbing deputy ng Comelec Task Force ang Philippine National Police (PNP), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) at ang Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) kapartner ang Integrated Bar of the Philippines(IBP).

Mamayang ala-1 ng hapon isasagawa ang pormal na paglulunsad na sasaksihan nina Comelec- Com. Al A. Parreño
PNP- PBGen Rey Lyndon T. Lawas, Deputy Director Directorate for Operations; DILG- Usec. Jonathan E. Malaya at mga kinatawan mula sa NBI Regional Operations Service at mga opisyal ng IBP.
