Ilang araw bago ang halalan sa ika-13 ng Mayo, nagbabala ang Comelec at DILG na bawal ang mga opisyales ng barangay na makisawsaw sa local at national elections.

Sa Baybay City, Leyte may mga sinampolan na makasuhan.
