1,000 OFWs mula Libya nakatakdang umuwi ng bansa

Sasailalim sa repatriation ang nasa 1,000 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) mula Libya dahil sa tumitinding tensyon sa naturang bansa.

Ayon kay Labor Sec. Silvestre Bello III, sisimulan na ng six-member team ng labor personnel at welfare officers ang repatriation procedures pagdating nila sa Libya sa Lunes.

Posible anyang tumaas pa ang bilang ng OFWs na uuwi ng bansa sakaling lumala ang sitwasyon pero kaya pa naman ito tugunan ng gobyerno.

Ipinakalat ang mga labor at welfare officers na nauna nang itinalaga sa Libya upang mapadali ang paghahanap sa mga OFWs.

Sinabi ni Bello na ang mga anak ng mga OFWs ang prayoridad sa repatriation.
