Kasado na ang lahat para sa pagsisimula ng Overseas Absentee Voting bukas April 13.
Ang pagboto ng mga Pinoy na nasa ibang bansa ay tatagal ng 1-buwan at magtatapos sa mismong araw ng eleksyon, May 13.
Ayon kay Comelec for Overseas Voting Director Elaiza David all set na para sa absentee voting.
Umaasa si David ng mataas na turnout o maraming Pinoy ang boboto.
Mayroong 1,822,173 na overseas voters ngayong eleksyon, karamihan dito ay land-based workers na 1,779,140.
Habang ang mga botanteng sea-based workers ay 43,033.
Pinakaraming nagparehistrong overseas voters ay mula sa Middle East at African Region na umabot sa 887,744; sumunod ang Asia Pacific Region – 401,390; North at Latin American Region – 345,415; at European Region – 187,624.
