Umakyat ang three-time defending champion na De La Salle University sa ikalawang pwesto matapos magwagi kontra University of Santo Tomas sa iskor na 21-25, 25-23, 25-19, 26-24, araw ng Linggo.
Solo sa second place ang Lady Spikers sa umaarangkadang UAAP women’s volleyball cup.
Naitala ni Desiree Cheng ang kanyang career-best na 20 points.
Nakatulong din ang 12 points ni Aduke Ogunsanya para sa panalo ng La Salle na ikapito na sa loob ng 10 laro.
Patuloy namang nangunguna ang Ateneo Lady Eagles habang nalaglag sa kartadang 6-4 ang Tigresses.
