30 Pinoy na patungong UAE para sa ilegal na trabaho, naharang sa NAIA

Naharang ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) ang nasa 30 Filipinong plano umanong magtrabaho sa United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Ayon kay Immigration Port Operations Division chief Grifton Medina, sinabi ng 18 babae at 12 lalaki na bibisita lamang sila sa kanilang mga kaibigan at kaanak sa Abu Dhabi.

Nagpakita pa ang mga ito ang kanilang tourist visas at return tickets.

Ngunit matapos dumaan sa masusing screening, umamin ang 29 rito at sinabing magtatrabaho sila bilang waiter sa Dubai.

Kinumpiska naman ng mga otoridad ang isang pekeng dokumento mula sa isang Pinoy na plano naman sanang magtrabaho sa Baghdad, Iraq bilang kitchen supervisor.
