PPCRV hinikayat ang mga botante na tanggihan ang vote buying

Hinikayat ng election watchdog group na Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting o PPCRV ang mga botante na tutulan ang vote buying.

Sa isang panayam, sinabi ni PPCRV Executive Director Maria Isabel Buenaobra na mas nagiging ‘creative’ o kakaiba ang istilo ng mga kandidato sa vote buying kasunod ng paghihigpit ng Commission on Elections o Comelec.

Dapat aniyang maging mapagmatyag ang mga botante sa mga pakulo ng mga kandidato sa nalalapit na halalan.

Payo pa nito, dapat pag-isipan nang mabuti ng mga botante ang ibobotong kandidato at hindi magpadala sa panandaliang tulong sa kasagsagan ng kampanya.

Samantala, sinabi pa nito na nakiisa ang PPCRV volunteers sa pag-review ng source code ng vote counting machines para matiyak na hindi ito malalagyan ng ibang datos.
