P56M halaga ng mga pirated DVD, nakumpiska sa Iligan
Nasa P56 milyong halaga ng pirated DVD ang nasamsam ng mga pulis at tauhan ng Optical Media Board (OBM) sa mga tindahan sa Barangay Poblacion sa Iligan City Lunes ng hapon.
Ayon sa mga otoridad, umabot sa 400 sako o libo libong mga pirated DVD ang nakumpiska.
Kabilang sa mga nakumpiska ay mga pornographic materials at ilang gamit sa pagkopya ng mga pelikula.
Ayon kay OMB chairman Anselmo Adriano, kakasuhan ang mga may-ari ng mga tindahan.
Umapela naman si Iligan City Police chief Michael Pareja sa publiko na huwag bumili ng mga pirated DVD para matigil na ang iligal na negosyo.
