PNP maghihigpit ng seguridad sa mga lugar na nasa red election hot spot
Paiigtingin ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang security preparations sa Mindanao at iba pang lugar na idineklarang red election hot spot sa May 13 polls.
Inilagay ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) sa red category ang bayan ng Jones sa Isabela, Lope de Vega sa Northern Samar, buong probinsya ng Abra at buong Mindanao dahil sa seryosong banta ng ilang armadong grupo sa kasagsagan ng 2013 at 2016 elections.
Sa inilabas na pahayag, sinabi ni PNP spokesperson Senior Supt. Bernard Banac na magsasagawa ng pagbabago sa security preparation ang PNP sa deklarasyon ng Comelec.
Ipagpapatuloy aniya ng PNP ang mandato nitong panatilihin ang kapayapaan at kaayusan sa nalalapit na eleksyon.
