EO para tugunan ang water crisis posibleng ilabas na ngayong linggo

Posibleng ngayong linggo o sa susunod na linggo na ilabas ang Executive Order (EO) na layong tugunan ang nararanasang water shortage sa bansa.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo anumang oras ngayong linggo o sa susunod na linggo ay ilalabas na ang EO.

“It should be ready any time this week or the week after,” ani Panelo.

Matatandaang kamakailan lamang ay sinabi ni Cabinet Secretary Karlos Nograles na kasama sa binabalangkas na EO ang paglilipat sa National Water Resources Board (NWRB) sa ilalim ng Office of the President (OP).

Ang NWRB ay kasalukuyang nasa ilalim ng Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).

Sinabi ni Nograles na ang pagsasailalim ng NWRB sa OP ay upang ang lahat ng ahensya na may kinalaman sa water resource management ay nasa iisang direksyon lamang sa usapin ng tubig.
