Tren ng MRT-3 umusok, mga pasahero mabilis na inilikas
Makaraan ang ilang minuto ay kaagad ring naibalik sa normal ang operasyon ng Metro Rail Transit 3 (MRT3).
Ito ay makaraang umusok ang isa sa kanilang bagon bago dumating sa Santolan station mula sa Cubao kaninang 6:02 ng gabi.
Sa advisory ng Department of Transportations (DOTr), ay kanilang sinabi na 6:35 ng gabi ay nadala na sa pocket track sa Shaw station ang nagka-aberyang tren.
Nilinaw rin ng pamunuan ng MRT3 na mabilis na rumesponde ang kanilang mga tauhan at naibaba ng maayos at ligtas ang lahat ng mga nagpanic na pasahero.
“Passengers were assisted by the train driver and security personnel. At 6:35 PM, the train regained traction and was moved to the pocket track in Shaw Station. Movement of trains was regulated at 6:16 PM and normal operations resumed at 6:35PM”, ayon pa sa MRT3.
