‘Underspending’ sa pamahalaan natuldukan na ayon kay Sec. Diokno
Sa loob ng nakalipas na 12 taon nagwakas na ang ‘underspending’ sa gobyerno ayon kay outgoing Budget and Management Secretary Benjamin Diokno.
Ito ay makaraang makamit ng DBM ang 2018 spending goal nito at ma-disburse ang kabuuang P3.4 trillion.
Malaking factor ayon kay Diokno ang mga public infrastructure at personnel services sa government spending.
Sinabi ni Diokno na umabot sa P886.2 billion ang infrastructure spending ng gobyerno mas mataas pa sa P868.6 billion na target.
Dahil dito, sinabi ni Diokno na nawakasan na ang 12 sunud-sunod na taon nang
underspending sa pamahalaan.
