Ayon sa National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), gumawa ang suspek na si Jose Villafuerte ng Facebook account umano ng Office of the Chief Presidential Legal Counsel o O-C-P-L-C.
Mayroon pa itong pangalan at larawan ni Panelo.
Nag-post umano si Villafuerte ng mga legal updates at announcements na kinopya mula sa official account ng O-C-P-L-C.
Isinagawa ng N-B-I ang operasyon sa bahagi ng Cebu City noong February 21.
Humiling kasi ang O-C-P-L-C na imbestigahan ang naturang poser account.
Marami aniya ang nagpapadala ng mensahe, inquiries na si Panelo lamang ang otorisadong sumagot.
Ginamit pa umano ang poser account para humingi ng pera mula sa tao para umano sa mga proyekto ng tagapagsalita ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Mahaharap si Villafuerte sa mga kasong paglabag sa computer-related identity theft, obstruction of justice, unlawful use of alias, use of falsified documents, falsification of public documents, usurpation of authority or official functions, at use of fictitious name concealing true name.
