NBI agents na umaresto kay Maria Ressa hihingan ng paliwanag ng DOJ
Iniimbestigahan ng Department of Justice (DOJ) ang mga ahente ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) na umaresto kay Rappler CEO Maria Ressa, noong Miyerkules ng hapon.
Ito ay matapos ang ulat na may ahente ng NBI na nagbanta sa isang reporter ng Rappler.
Ayon kay Justice Undersecretary Mark Perete, walang lugar ang NBI para sabihin sa isang reporter ng Rappler na kapag hindi siya tumigil sa kaka-video ay siya ang isusunod na aarestuhin.
Sinabi ni Perete na hihingan ng paliwanag ang mga ahente kung bakit ganoon ang kanilang inasta nila at kung totoong ginawa nga nila ito.
Nilinaw naman ni Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra na wala namang utos na bawal i-video ang pag-aresto kay Ressa.
