Rebeldeng nagbalik-loob sa gobyerno arestado sa pagbibitbit ng baril sa Bataan
Dinakip ng mga tauhan ng Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) ng Bataan Provincial Police Office ang isang dating rebelde na nagbalik-loob sa gobyero.
Ito ay dahil sa kasong illegal possession of firearms.
Ayon sa ulat ng Police Regional Office 3 (PRO-3) CIDG, ang suspek na si Ronaldo Tangente ay nadakip sa Barangay Liyang, Pilar, Bataan sa bisa ng search warrant na inisyu ni Executive Judge Marion Jacqueline Poblete ng Regional Trial Coourt ng Bataan.
Nakuha sa suspek ang isang .38 caliber revolver ba may apat na mga bala, dalawang basyo ng bala, at isang rifle grenade.
Si Tangente ay dating miyembro ng New People’s Army at nag-ooperate sa Bataan at Zambales.
Taong 2009 nang sumuko ito sa gobyerno pero naging kasapi naman ng “Limay Criminal Group” na sangkot sa gunrunning at gun-for-hire activities.
Mahaharap si Tangente sa kasong paglabag sa R.A. 10591 o Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Law at R.A. 9516 o Illegal Possession of Explosive.
